DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 — Mon, October 26
PARIS - FELDKIRCH
An early morning departure sets the tone for an exciting journey ahead. Scenic roads lead toward Austria with free time for lunch along the way.
Arrival in Feldkirch in the late afternoon, where a warm welcome cocktail awaits. Hotel check-in, dinner, and evening entertainment.
DAY 2 — Tue, October 27
RAPPERSWIL - VORALPEN EXPRESS - LUCERNE
After breakfast, the journey heads into Central Switzerland, passing along the shores of Lake Walen before reaching Rapperswil.
Board the Voralpen Express, a scenic train ride winding through alpine landscapes and lakes until arriving in Lucerne.
Enjoy lunch, followed by a guided visit of the city, including the famous Chapel Bridge and the Jesuit Church.
Return to the hotel overlooking the lakes of Zurich and Walen. Dinner and evening
entertainment.
DAY 3 — Wed, October 28
BERNINA EXPRESS - TIEFENCASTEL - TIRANO - ST. MORITZ
Today is a highlight of the tour. Travel into the Engadine Valley, one of the sunniest alpine regions.
At Tiefencastel, board the Bernina Express panoramic train and admire spectacular views as the train climbs the Albula route, crosses the Bernina Pass, and descends into Tirano, Italy.
Lunch in Tirano, followed by a scenic drive back through the Alps, stopping in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s most famous mountain resort.
Return to the hotel for dinner and entertainment.
DAY 4 — Thu, October 29
FELDKIRCH - APPENZELL
Discover Feldkirch, a charming medieval town dominated by its impressive castle. Walk through historic streets and visit the local museum.
After lunch, continue to Appenzell, famous for its colorful wooden houses. Visit the Ebneter Distillery and enjoy a tasting of traditional herbal spirits.
Return via panoramic routes overlooking the Rhine Valley. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5 — Fri, October 30
RHINE GORGE - VADUZ
Follow the Rhine River toward its source in the canton of Graubünden. Reach Ilanz, gateway to the Rhine Gorge, often called the Swiss Grand Canyon.
Board a scenic train through dramatic white rock cliffs and deep valleys. Lunch follows.
In the afternoon, visit Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein. A small tourist train tour introduces both the historic town and modern financial district, complemented by a short film about the principality.
Return to the hotel for the farewell dinner.
DAY 6 — Sat, April 27
FELDKIRCH - PARIS
After breakfast, begin the return journey. Free time for lunch en route. Arrival back in the evening, bringing home unforgettable memories of Swiss rail adventures.
