Discover the flavors and history of Dieppe at the Herring & Scallop Festival. This long-standing festival celebrates the town’s maritime heritage with delicious seafood, lively music, and local crafts.
Morning :
8:00 am – Depart from Paris
11:00 am – Arrive in Dieppe. Head to the port area and start with the Herring & Scallop Festival – sample fresh scallops, herring dishes, family atmosphere, maritime music and stalls.

Chateau-Musée de Dieppe
Explore the museum’s collections ( maritime artifacts, local history, art)
From the chateau’s battlements and its surrounding grounds, enjoy sweeping panoramic views over the town , the beach and the cliffs
Chapelle Notre-Dame de Bonsecours
Built in 1876, overlooking Le Pollet and facing the château. It was dedicated to sailors lost at sea. The chapel offers a unique viewpoint over the port of Dieppe, wea, town, and the cliffs. Panoramic vistas from the cliff-top are especially striking.
Festival + Lunch
Return to festival area by 1:30 pm to enjoy more food, local ambiance, possibly some live events or displays.
