The small town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice lacks charm and has a very little historical legacy. However, the live streams that frequently connect Bourg to the devastating mountain stream floods now provide the best rafting route in Tarentaise to enthusiasts for extreme thrills. Additionally, the city is connected to Les Arcs domain by a funicular and sits at the entrance to the largest Tarentaise stations. As pleasant as ever, with an animated character and a Savoyard atmosphere.
